SUPERVISOR: Food and Nutrition Services Operations Coordinator

SUMMARY: Provide product delivery, tracking, and verification of pricing for items received by the Food and Nutrition Services warehouse. Maintains all H.A.C.C.P. forms to ensure food safety standards are followed. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Coordinates all deliveries and physically receives in all product to ensure warehouse stock levels are adequate using current software. This includes UPS, FedEx, and all department vendors. (Daily 10%)
• Ensures receiving temperature procedures are followed according to H.A.C.C.P. plan. (Daily 5%)
• Processes all department invoices for payment in district approved software system(s). (Daily 20%)
• Works closely with the Buyer II to ensure product availability and completes Buyer’s duties when out. (Monthly 10%)
• Coordinates, orders, and receives produce upon delivery to ensure product is available for delivery to all schools. (Daily 15%)
• Verifies pricing of all products received and communicates with vendors when problems arise. Assists with updating bid pricing annually. (Daily 10%)
• Tracks all purchase orders for food, non-food, and USDA foods for FNS department. (Daily 10%)
• Receives all orders into district approved software system(s). (Daily 5%)
• Completes monthly verification of USDA foods and matches vendor invoices to department approved software. (Monthly 5%)
• Provides excellent customer service for all internal and external customers. (Daily 10%)
• Maintains current vendor list and contact information. (Monthly 5%)
• Communicates with vendors and kitchens regarding product outs, damaged product, or delivery issues. (Daily 10%)
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. [Daily, 5%]

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Supply chain management, warehousing, or child nutrition experience.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Previous experience operating software related to accounting, purchasing, and delivery scheduling.

Required Certificates, Licenses, And RegistrationsAll certifications, licenses, and registrations must be valid and unexpired.Preferred Qualifications

• Previous education system experience.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Word and Excel.
• Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Racially conscious and culturally competent with the skill, will, capacity, and knowledge to commit to a culture of continuous improvement.
