When players first start in Marvel Strike Force getting the City, Guardians, and Avengers teams are first on the list. Those teams are great initially but quickly show their age and usefulness after going up against teams like the X-Men, Symbiotes, and Black Order teams. Identifying potential targets to get character shards for next-level teams will go a long way. A big part of advancing quickly before jumping into it will be participation. No player, or Alliance, will get very far without participation because it leads to precious loot for upgrading teams in various ways.

What Are The Best Characters To Get in Marvel Strike Force

Marvel Strike Force: Advanced Tips, Tricks, & Strategies (1)

When it comes to Marvel Strike Force, getting top-tier teams will go a long way to dominating multiple game modes, so targeting specific players will be priority one. The focus should be on getting Legendary characters, but with so many to choose from and only to come on rotating every few months, here are the teams needed to unlock the best Legendary characters:

  • Black Bolt:Five Asgardian characters will unlock Black Bolt
  • Ebony Maw:Needs five Inhumans to unlock
  • Phoenix:Needs five Mystic/Villain/Controller Characters of which Hela, Mordo, Loki, Nobu, and Hand Sentry are valid characters to use

Black Bolt will be the first target, with Ebony Maw and Phoenix a very close second and third behind. Blat Bolt is the strongest Blaster character and can wipe entire teams with his sonic blasts very quickly. Inhuman teams can be a great team to use as a countering team against powerful enemy teams in Arena, Blitz, and especially Alliance War. After getting Black Bolt, Ebony Maw is next because getting Black Bolt is needed to complete the Inhuman team. The Black Order team is one of the strongest teams in the game, and getting Ebony Maw is a must. With Hela unlocked to get Black Bolt and Ebony Maw, Phoenix can get unlocked as well because of the specific character type she fills. The X-Men team with Phoenix will be an offensive juggernaut that can ruin many Asgardian teams to pieces. After looking at these three teams, getting a 7-star Asgardian team will bridge next-level gameplay.

How To Level Up Teams Quickly In Marvel Strike Force

Now that the Asgardian, Black Order, X-Men, and Inhuman teams are unlocked in Marvel Strike Force, powering them up is the next order of business. A quick way to get some easy power-ups is to do the daily objectives. Completing them will earn rewards such as energy, cores, and credits. Finishing it up can take 10-20 minutes, and these are precious and easy rewards to get. Talking about rewards, a lesson that most beginner players miss, or forget, is that they don't participate in each activity. In alliance play, completing nodes in Raids, participating in the Alliance Wars will rack up a ton of Raid and War credits that will unlock lesser but essential characters necessary to unlocking the bigger teams.

A great example of the importance of completing them is Carnage is a part of the Symbiotes team that is extremely powerful, and he's available with War credits. Other examples are Sif (Asgardian Team), who's also available with War credits, Cyclops (X-Men Team), who's available with Raid credits. Raid credits are valuable for upgrading materials that will make any team powerful if targeted correctly. Many characters get released all the time, but if players stay on target of specific teams, fewer resources will get wasted. Speaking of resources, be sure to finish the Dark Dimension nodes as quickly as possible. Completing them the first two times will give an enormous amount of gold items to level up characters to gear tier 13 and higher.

Tips For Free-To-Play Players in Marvel Strike Force

There are a few shortcuts that can help players get a leg up here and there asMarvel Strike Force is afree-to-play game. It won't be as good against players who pump money into the game, although smarter decisions with where to put time and resources will go a long way. For example, in Blitz, the timer for characters before they can battle for free is two hours. Players should max out the number of slots available in saved squads so that each player can fight and isn't on another team. With 40 spaces to use, Blitz credits can go towards buying characters and, more importantly, items to help with winning Alliance War.

The War credits are very valuable, and Blitz is a great way to accumulate them. Doing the Daily Objectives will gift cores to players, and it's tempting to use them on store items. If spending cores is the way to go, buy the red star packs as there's a chance to get a 7-red star upgrade for each 2,000 red star credits. If the character from the orb is a duplicate, that means red star promotion credits. The more red star promotion credits get accumulated, they can go to the red star orb packs for guaranteed upgrades. A final tip, when it comes to Challenges, try the higher level first before completing previous levels as a test to see what has to get upgraded on the next go around the challenge becomes available.
