The Evergreen State of Washington is justly named, with a lush variety of forests covering much of the western side of the state. Learn about some of these trees as well as the UW campus with this tour led by School of Environmental and Forest Sciences alum Theodore Hoss.The UW campus is home to over 480 species of trees, including many of the 30 species native to the State. Open to people of all levels of interest in trees, and an opportunity to learn about the best forests to visit in the region as well.

UW Food Systems Walking Tour

Join representatives from the Food Systems, Nutrition, and Health Major on a guided tour of campus to explore the University’s food system. The Indigenous Walking Tour was created by UW alumnus Owen L. Oliver and is dedicated to Indigenous students; past, present and future. This is a special virtual tour of the University of Washington campus through an Indigenous lens. The tour is based on Owen’s original publication and includes narration by Owen and photos and videos at 10-stops across the UW campus.
