My experience at this school is mainly good, the teachers would always make sure student had the resources and tools that they would need. CMIT has cheearleading, track, baseball, basketball, soccer and volleyball, as a student athlete I believe that CMIT does not really get looked at for their sports, but the teams are very good. The administration is very good the school is very safe and would always have events for the students. As a senior about to leave for college I believe that CMIT has really helped when it came to provide scholarships and information about colleges that we would definitely need to know. CMIT provides one class called "Business Law" I think this class was very helpful when learning about taxes, credit cards, insurance etc. I would like to see more classes like that so that students could learn more about it before their senior year so that they would be prepared for the real world. Overall, I believe CMIT South is a very safe and motivating school for students.

I think there needs to be some more diversity in the school just so everything seems more equal and fair. In my opinion I think diversity is good because it brings in more culture that we could possibly learn off each other while having fun

The school is very strict with certain things. The student population isn't too diverse and some might feel unwelcome because of how secluded different groups of people might come off as.

This school advocates for people to stop bullying but it has just come out that the principal and vice principal have been bullying one of the schools most beloved teachers for FIVE YEARS. He has filed for harassment reports numerous times and the county refuses to hear it but the principal has decided to make one report on him with no basis and he got sent out for it. It has very sad that this school used to be very good for students but now there are people in charge that should never be role models for your kids.

CMIT North is a very good school that I appreciate going to. There's hardly any bullying in our school, which makes it very easy to get along with everyone in the school. Our school counselor helps seniors prepare for college assisting them with applications, transcripts, and scholarships.

My experience at CMIT has been a good one overall. I've made many connections and get along well with the staff and students. However, I would like to see more diversity in terms of clubs. Though I did start my mental health club it was tough to find a sponsor for it. If we had more teachers, students like me wouldn't have to struggle as much.

CMIT is overall a good school. However, the limited class size and charter status significantly limit extracurricular activities and events that go on in the school. Aside from that, CMIT is a great school!

My experience here at CMIT North has been pretty good. I've had great teachers, made quite a few friends over the years, and I've enjoyed my time in athletics and in certain clubs. While not everything has been perfect, it has by no means been something that I'd complain about.

I think CMIT has room for improvement. The school itself is alright, but I feel like there is a lack of identity for the school. I also feel like, there needs to be more events to build culture in the school, like more fundraisers, more fun events, and being less strict. Other than that, I believe its a good school.

As a student at CMIT North high school, if you were to count the amount of times my friends and I complain to each other, each day, talking about how much we "hate" our school, you would probably be able to discover the infinite number. But truth be told, if I Oluwagbemisola Esther Adekanbi, were given the option to pick any school, and get immediate admission to the school, i would probably most definitely still pick CMIT. CMIT is a small school, and as a person who hates being around too much people, this is great for me. CMIT is also very clean in comparison to other schools. The stalls are nice, the hallways are bright and welcoming, and most especially I dont have to worry about my safety or any harms coming to me, unlike other schools. I feel safe in CMIT. CMIT is great. CMIT is comfortable. CMIT is enough for me.

It was pretty small and not a lot of high school like memories. It started off nice in freshman year but then it slowly started to decline asks more restrictions were placed on us. I liked the peers I met there but not all of the teachers. I feel like there needed to be more school spirit and events. I also liked being in the national honor society at my school.

This was a school that prepared me academically. For the most part, the teachers were well educated. As years went by, my favor for the staff and faculty decreased which in turn decreased my enjoyment and appreciation for the school. I also believe they should have college prepped junior year in addition to senior year.

This school overall has been a very mixed bag. Some of the teachers here are really great and engage with the students, and develop a healthy student-teacher bond which can lead to a better learning experience. However, some of the teachers are not so friendly or accommodating to the students, along with some of the administrators.

I would like this school to become more public. What I mean by this is more inclusion in the school, with more options such as clubs and activities, to be considered a serious contender among other schools in Prince Georges County.

Good academic-wise, the sports and clubs maybe not, one thing is that they don't have a football team and they won't allow you to play for another school. It's a shame that the school doesn't offer a football team and doesn't allow students to play for another school. However, there may still be other sports and clubs that you can get involved in and excel at. It's important to prioritize your academic success while also finding ways to pursue your interests and passions outside of the classroom.

I have gone here since the third grade. There are pros and cons. Some pros are the many academic opportunities that surround the school. Some cons are the student life isn’t has focused on as other schools.

Overall, I like the academics and the resources that this school provides. There are small classes and there are good teachers and staff who do a good job of taking care of students. Furthermore, this school provides a good and safe environment for its students. But, there are sports such as football, cross country, swimming, and more that this school doesn't provide which is something that can be changed to help with the experience of students who come to this school. Sports is important towards schools because it is one of the main things that brings students together and involves a lot of students when attending a school.
