What is the new name for Tufts Health Plan? ›

You can count on the same great plan.

Starting January 1, 2024, our Tufts Health Unify (Medicare-Medicaid) plan will be renamed Tufts Health One Care (Medicare-Medicaid) plan. We're proud to be one of the original One Care health plans in Massachusetts, and we want our name to reflect it!

Minnesota Advantage Health Plan is the health insurance coverage for state employees, and retirees under age 65 and/or not eligible for Medicare. People enrolled in the plan may also cover their spouse, children, and other dependents who are eligible.

With individual and family plans from UnitedHealthcare, you'll find health insurance coverage with benefits designed with your unique needs in mind.

It completed a merger with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care on January 1, 2021, making the then unnamed company the second-largest health insurer in Massachusetts.

With Tufts Health Together, our MassHealth plan, you get all the benefits of MassHealth, including: Visits to doctors and specialists. Covered drugs are FREE for members with a doctor's prescription.

Once your plan has started, you can use your Benefits Prepaid Card to buy eligible groceries. Eligible products include all food items like fresh meats, fruits and vegetables, canned goods, frozen foods, and more.

If you have the Transportation wallet included in your benefit, your card will only work for gas at the pump and not inside the convenience store.

MNsure is the only place you can apply for financial help to lower the cost of your monthly insurance premium and out-of-pocket costs. Most Minnesotans who enroll through MNsure qualify for financial help.

Minnesota's public health system is known as one of the best in the nation. It is built upon a strong partnership between the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), local public health agencies, tribal governments and a range of other organizations.

A UnitedHealthcare UCard may be used to purchase approved food items, over-the-counter medications and health items and even utility bills. You UnitedHealthcare Ucard also serves as your plan ID card that you would present to a doctor or pharmacy when using your plan benefits or checking in at the gym.

UnitedHealthcare intends to include its self-funded (ASO) plans in the virtual card payment program. ASO customers can elect to opt out of participation in the program. In those circ*mstances, you may receive a paper check for claims for members of ASO plans that have opted out.

On, March 1, 2022, we announced our new name: Tufts Medicine. Drawing from our close relationship with Tufts University and its Medical School we renamed our system and all members began sharing this identity in combination with their historic names.

January 1, 2024 - Transition

As of January 1, 2024, your current Tufts Health Plan will transition to Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. Participants will receive new member ID cards effective 1/1/2024 with the HPHC logo and new group and subscriber ID numbers.
